Board President's Message

The Solano Community Symphony in its 20th Anniversary Season continues to uplift audiences with their performances and contributes to the vitality of artistic life in Solano County. Our goal is to work together to reach out and share our treasured Symphony and splendid guest artists with more of our friends within the community.

We hope more of our growing audience will consider volunteering some time, opening your home to a visiting guest artist, or contributing to the "Gift of Music" campaign or the Ann Stickler Endowment. Together we will develop a better financial foundation, which enables us to sustain a high level of achievement in education and presentation, thus ensuring the future of this outstanding Symphony. Our dedication to youth programs is not a committment just to youth, but to all.

Those who give generously to sustain the Symphony deserve special appreciation. To those of you who attend the concerts, some for the first time and some over many years, we welcome you with great delight. We look forward to enjoying a fabulous season with old and new friends.

Enjoy the musical celebration!

League President's Message

Each year I get excited about the musical adventures the Solano Community Symphony will offer during the season.

This year is no exception... Great soloists... Old favorites... Musical explorations into less familiar terrain, and, of course, the pleasure of hearing the continuing professional quality coming from our community orchestra.

We are delighted that Solano County has its own symphony orchestra, led by a maestro of such considerable capability and devotion to high musical standards.

We especially want to thank you, the patrons, for including in your life the feast for the soul that listening to live classical music brings. We hope you will invite your friends to share with us the pleasures of this musical season.
