Young Artist Competion

Here is a call to all musically talented young artists, age 12 - 21 and living in Solano County. If you have ever dreamed of performing with a live Symphony Orchestra, here is your chance.

There are three separate divisions: vocal, piano and instrumental. Each division has a first, second, and third place prize of $200, $100 and $50 respectively. The first place winner in each category may be invited to perform with Solano Community Symphony in next year's "Salute to Youth Concert" on February 11th and 12th, 2012. Auditions will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 1600 Union Avenue, Fairfield, CA . The deadline has been extended. Please apply as soon as possible.

If you are one of these talented youth or if you know of a talented youth who lives in Solano County, please tell them of this opportunity.
