SOLANO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES

The Solano Symphony Orchestra is committed to creating a comfortable, enjoyable, and safe environment for its musicians, patrons, staff, and volunteers by adopting safety protocols to ensure your visit to VPAT is safe and sound. These protocols are in effect now until further notice and will be reviewed regularly to follow the latest public health recommendations.

  • All guests age two and over are required to wear a facemask, fully covering their mouth and nose, inside the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre (VPAT), in addition to any in-person rehearsals or gatherings related to the Solano Symphony Orchestra. This is regardless of vaccination status.

  • The October Opening Concert has been shortened and will be performed without an intermission.

  • VPAT has upgraded its ventilation system.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available at several stations.

  • Occupancy of the bathrooms will be limited to two people at a time.

  • Guests will be asked to take their seat immediately and/or distance from other parties in the lobby or outdoors (Note, season ticket holders will have early priority seating when the doors open at 2 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.)

The Board of Directors will continue to monitor and impose any COVID-specific restrictions in accordance with the venue, city, county, or state. We welcome any comments, questions, and suggestions regarding these measures.

Orchestra Members, Board, Staff, and Volunteers

At this time, the Solano Symphony Orchestra is requiring all individuals (members, soloists, substitutes, and any other performers) to be fully masked, as well as vaccinated or tested by an FDA-approved COVID-19 test before attending rehearsals or performing with the orchestra. This policy will be revisited, as necessary.
