2019-2020 Season Update
The Solano Symphony Orchestra has made the decision to cancel the remainder of its 2019-2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
SSO and the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre will notify ticket holders with the option to receive a refund or donate their tickets back to the symphony. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us or the VPAT Box Office at (707-469-4013).
Our highest priority is the health and safety of our patrons, musicians and community. We urge everyone to continue to follow the guidelines set forth by public health officials and appreciate your support and understanding.
We will miss you! When it is safe, we look forward to the time we can all be together again and enjoy the beauty and power of live music. Please stay tuned for our 2020-2021 season announcement!
Charitable Giving through RMDs
If you have reached 70 1/2 and have an IRA or other investment on which you must take the RMD (Required Minimum Distribution) as required by the IRS, you have the option to take the total or a partial amount of your RMD and have it go directly to your favorite 501 (c) 3 nonprofit! This counts as your required tax payment and does not incur further payment by you. Contact your tax person for further information and remember that the Solano Symphony is a 501 (c) 3 and can be listed as the designated charity! Thank you!
