Side-by-Side Performance - NEW!
High school students from Solano County are eligible to submit an audition recording to be considered to perform during the Salute to Youth concert in March. Audition information will be released mid-September. Recordings will be reviewed and the highest-scoring applicants for each instrument will have the opportunity to rehearse and perform two pieces alongside professional orchestra members.

Youth Outreach
The Symphony works to engage youth in our community to expand their knowledge in music and showcase their talent. Through our annual Young Artists Competition, young instrumental and vocal soloists have an opportunity to earn cash awards and the chance to perform with the orchestra, in addition to youth ensembles from local schools. We have also partnered with The Leaven learning centers – an after-school mentoring and tutoring program for at-risk and under-served neighborhoods – to provide musical instrument demonstrations to elementary-age youth.

"The mission of the Solano Symphony Orchestra is to entertain and enrich the lives of our diverse audiences by contributing to the cultural and economic vitality of our communities."
